Rare to medium rare, my daddy spoiled me, so only the very best cuts of red meat when I do eat it.

He'd turn over in his grave if we EVER poured any kind of steak sauce on a prime piece of meat. I do make an exception on lesser cuts with different tri-tip marinades, or bulgogi and carne asada.

I like a rare steak. After I'm finished, I like to lift the plate to my mouth and drink the blood.

I just ordered medium rare but I switch between rare and medium rare depending on some completely arbitrary parameters like type of restaurant and cut.
