How far does LSU fall in the SECW?

  • Alabama is clear number one. Texas A&M, Ole Miss are on the rise. Auburn hired somewhat of a competent staff, as did Arkansas. Mississippi State is a bottom feeder. LSU loses half the team and has a terrible coach. I'm thinking perennial fourth place from here on out.

  • Not unless someone starts taking all that talent from LA. I could coach them to 9 wins speaking only Japanese. I do agree on AU though. That staff, especially with Ellis Johnson, is top flight.

  • I said more than a few weeks ago that I thought they would take a step back after this year. After watching the Clemson game and seeing all their players bolt for the NFL, it rings even truer. The winner of the Bama/A&M game wins the West. The Winner of the LSU/Ole Miss game might just decide who comes in 3rd. Man, SEC football is going to be a lot of fun next season.

  • Bama fans have been calling for LSU's imminent downfall for about 3-4 years now and yet we're still the only team in the country that scares you on the field. Even this year, a down year for LSU, we won 10 games and should've won 2 of the 3 we lost(including Bama who we pushed around and made look average for most of 3 quarters). Not bad for a down year.

We need a new offensive plan and if that doesn't happen then I can agree with everything in this thread but there is too much talent on the roster for us to fall too far even with the losses. We'll be just fine with who we have currently, the class coming in and next year's historically good class. Don't cry any tears for LSU. We're in great shape for the future. Don't believe all of what the media writes or says. They're only an immediate reaction business.

Laughing at TAM jumping us. Did you see what we did to them in College Station this year? That was with a down team. It will only get worse.
