Mark Barron will go in the 1st round, and will be a good NFL player, he wouldve play linebacker at AU and then we would talk about how he ran a 4.3 40 next to Jake Holland...

He'll probably be as good as every other secondary player Bama has sent to the league under Saban. Only, a slower version.

People just dont understand..SPEED in a straight line in a 40 is so overrated its insane. For example how many times will a SS be running in a straight line..every heard of footwork, angles, instincts, game knowledge, 4.4 and 4.8 arent that far apart in game time speed...ill take a guy who runs a 4.7 is 210+ (muscle), with good footwork, knowledge, takes good angles, and has good football instincts over a guy that runs 4.4 in a 40

I hope you're right. I'd be pleased if Auburn had two of them. The only that makes this dolt better is that he's real and TIGER is not.

But Barron doesn't possess the incredible "instincts" you just described. Especially in the passing game. He doesn't take the best angles either.

Howard just wants one of us to admit that we were wrong for thinking all 5 players would go in the first round and really aren't that much better than Auburn's players.
Because the 42-14 score doesnt really matter; national coaches and media giving out accolades dont count; mock drafts based on scouts' assessments don't count.
The only thing that matters is Howard's professional opinion.
