The complex isn't upscale but it's not the cheapest place either. My guess is right around 300 a month per person maybe a little under. I always tried to live a lot closer to campus though. I never understood why someone would want to live so far away from campus that they relied on the bus or their car to get to class/bars. I usually looked for convenience to walk to/from the campus/bars.

300 a month a person is CHEAP in Tuscaloosa.
A buddy of mine paid 400 for a bad place a couple blocks off campus and that was cheap. Bad places behind Publix on the strip go for 500+ a person.

What it does is give the cutthroat recruiting sharks a little bit of an edge. When a kid is known to be visiting au, you can bet some opposing recruiters will drop a " Be careful and stay with the coaches and admin" somewhere in the vicinity of the recruits parents. Vicious world is recruiting.
