The lack of an OL once again killed FSU in a big game which is something I always harp on, but in that 3rd quarter I thought we would hold them off and allowed myself to forget logic and just hope
Not thinking ( due to emotional high ) about how that defense had played too many snaps, and then the world caved in as UF scores 24 in the 4th quarter by jamming it down FSU's anus
My prediction was pretty solid for 3 quarters lol, the defense actually played great imo.... UF scored all their points on very short fields and at the end when the defense basically died due to fatigue and the realization that the offense could no longer come back ( never been in a battle like that and it showed against a team that has )
Solid game though, next years will be much better and it was refreshing seeing both teams worthy of playing each other
Despite 5 TO's FSU still scored more on UF than anybody else did, that is the only good thing I took from that game

Agreed. Also, calling Burton out of bounds on the free play when he was in fact in bounds definitely held us back. I know FSU fans claim ACC refs had been jobbing them all year but it looked like they were trying to make it up all in that one game. Either way, double digit win!

I don't count that last drive but that's me. Everybody just stood around and stared as EJ ran it in. But I gotta agree with you on how good it was just to see a good game between the two again. And that it'll be a better one next year.
Btw, just flew through the first two episodes of Treme. Love it, man. Thanks.

20 was what I was thinking of, didn't realize 2 other teams scored 20
So tied for the most UF gave up, real score was certainly 37-20.... but the gap wasn't as large as that scores says imo, UF beat FSU down but did most of the damage in the final quarter..... the game was pretty evenly fought for 3 quarters

The smartest thing Muschamp did imo, was attack Edwards the moment he came in for Tank.... I would have done the same thing, and Edwards was simply dominated
I could also say the gap would have been closer if EJ could throw and FSU's OL could block
Or if Jimbo called those dives that seemed to cut right though UF's defense more than 4 times, but either way we are back to the days when a down year for UF and FSU means 11+ wins...... not 6 or 7
I think both teams will be light years better next year, hopefully FSU can get some hairs on their nuts this offseason
The OL returning is a dream come true for me
