The correct definition of a brand is a product manufactured by a company. Notre Dame sells itself. Nationwide there are Notre Dame fans for numerous reasons whether they have school ties, religious ties, or historical ties to it.
It is the most recognizable logo in all of CFB. Maybe 3rd all time to the Yankees and Cowboys

I get that but how is any of that relevant to today's college football landscape? I don't think college football needs ND like it once did. If they want to participate in the new FBS playoff then they should have to join a conference like everybody else. That logo should only take them so far.
