How many Heismans would Trent Richardson have won if he went

He did get 2 nattys, but did he lose a heisman(s)? What's your opinion?

When would he have won a Heisman? I guess if he went somewhere else and beat Ingram when Richardson was a freshman, but no way that Richardson could have ever had the stats to beat out either Newton or RG3 the last two years.
Besides, I still think that Ingram was a superior running back in college to Richardson. He just played the game smarter and used his line a lot better.

Alabama had 508 rushing attempts and 357 passing attempts last year. They ARE a run first offense.

He never would have beat out RG3 or Cam, so his only chance would have been as freshman and I doubt he would have won as a freshman.

Almost every good team does that. Who throws the ball around when up big? Usually a heisman winner comes from that type of team.

EVERY team does that.
What other programs in the country are more run first than Alabama????
Georgia Tech? Oregon? A handful of teams at most.
There is not another school in the country where Trent Richardson could have gone to improve his Heisman chances over Alabama.

I know this but we were up big on a lot of teams toward the end of the 3rd. Trent was out by then and guys like Lacy and Fowler were getting carries.
Again, I'm not saying trent would have won the Heisman elsewhere. I don't see him beating Cam or RG3 even if he had gone to Wisconsin

I fully understand my teams strengths and weaknesses and while the perception is that we run it 60-70% of the time, it's simply not true.

2011 stats: 2788 rushing yards, 2797 passing yards.
Seems like we were balanced to me.
