I agree somewhat. I think fewer well thought out posts is a lot more valuable than spewing bullsh-t all over a board. We all know guys who do this. I prefer to read and enjoy and pitch in when something strikes me. Rivals thing is dead on though.

Posting is great just say something when you do. Bumping and stuff like that remind me of the bad place. I love this place because we can argue reasonably without longcats and the like. Also not alone on the social life thing. I work a lot.

I think it is a percentage past a certain number of votes. ie 900 upvotes 100 down votes gives you a 90% then figure in the total number of votes in relation possible to total number of posts ie 755 total posts with your 471 votes (which is over 2-1 votes to posts and I would assume that is pretty high) gets you on the HOF
