I'm the opposite, my family is borderline addicted to storms. I'm sure there's a logical explanation ie. the pressure drop that comes with bad weather but idk...my mom, aunt, uncle, and grandparents are all the same. The worse it gets the more we wanna be outside, my aunt actually moved to Oklahoma and chased tornadoes right after she graduated college. My mom was jealous of her but had to deal with me, we'd get tropical depressions and pussy 'canes here in Charleston all the time and we'd just sit under a balcony and watch.

What sucks more than the rain is it being winter weather for 3-4 days, then summer weather for the next couple days then repeat. Keeps everyone sick

Been raining a lot in the Atlanta area too. Really sucks cause before all this rain I hired this company to dig into the side of a hill in my backyard and build a bricked open, outside siting area with a fire pit. Project has started, digging has, but for several days now they haven't been able to work due to the rain.

Just sucks cause I'm anxious/excited to see how it turns out and love fire pits.

Agreed. I had to redo flooring in my house the past few weeks and finally got all the garbage out of my garage and up to the street in a bagster.

If all this water has soaked in and puts it over the 3500 LB pick up limit I'm gonna flip the eff out.

At least it's not costing you extra. I have been planning on getting some landscaping stuff done myself and thought I would be doing it soon but it just won't quit with this damn raining. I'm looking at buying another house but wanted to get this stuff done in my townhome before I moved down the road and bought my next place. I can't do dick as long as the weather keeps up like it has been the last month.

We haven't really had that much rain near Daphne/Gulf Shores Area, except when those thunderstorms/tornadoes passed through a few weeks ago. It rained last night but its been in the 70's and sunshine for the most part the past week. Starting to cold cold now. I felt like I should have been out on the beach or boat instead of sweating my ass off trying to hunt.
