You think the NFL really thinks that? Not a chance. They will sit there and lie until they are blue in the face to protect their brand. No way they would admit to doing something wrong. Big businesses often work that way.

Only the on the field referees are replacements. The replay officials are the same guys they have always had. Apparently they are not part of the union. I would hope that they made the correct call since they have been making the calls all along.

I'd argue that the replay officials have been making many incorrect calls all along. Replay can never seem to get it right.
