That TV you just bought costs more than all of my worldy possessions combined. Everything I have in my apartment fits in one plastic tub, although my gf has her spare room that is filled with all of my books.That being said, when choosing roommates or girlfriends, them having cool stuff for me to play with is a plus. My roommate has the awesome projector/HT setup, my girl drives an Audi S5.

I have a MacPro that has dual monitors and I can watch pretty much anything on that too but I hear you and have thought about doing something like that

But I only have two cable boxes and Im already spending enough on cable

Werd and just be smart ( don't have kids too early ) and when you get older you can hook yourself up

I have collected things all through my time in the Military ( 8 years ) I have tons of cool weird crap and I have some sweet ass wall art

Sadly two of my favorites were stolen from a storage unit I had, heart breaking

One was a huge framed canvas of Jordan and Pippen with an american flag in the background, the title was " Joint Chiefs of Stuff " as both were in dunking poses

Signed by both, stolen while serving my country lol..... thanks god

I dunno, having 3 sick tv's watching great games seem to be worth it to me....

Have more than one game console? In your shoes, if I had two consoles, I'd put my second console on whatever 55" doesn't have cable. For instance, you could have a 360 on that second TV and run Netflix or ESPN or some other app through it.

Not even slightly joking: Local thrift store. People have scrapped some GREAT older TVs in favor of flat screens. I picked up a slick 27" Samsung for $10 at the beginning of this school year. Now rocking two TVs in my dorm.
