I know Toyota has more parts and manufacturing performed in the U.S. than Ford and Chevrolet (Canada and Mexico), but I am not sure about Nissan.

Besides, I feel like I've already given GM enough money. No reason to feel obligated to buy their crappy vehicles too.

I like Nissan, had my Maxima for ten years and when I truly feel I need a new car I will buy the newest Maxima that is out or a newish used one from like a year back
I don't really give a damn about cars or know anything about them but Nissan is fine with me, not that much to get or fix which is almost all I care about
Its a bonus that they drive nice and come with bose systems and whatever else these days
I went to look at the newest Maxima last year for fun and its freaking sweet, especially on the inside

'97 Nissan pickup, bought in '02 for $2500 and still running strong. That 140hp beast has moved me completely across the country twice.

I love the Maximas. I drove a 2002 from '01 until I totaled it in '05 with about 125k miles on it. Never spent a penny on it outside of scheduled maintenance, loved the gas mileage and the power. I replaced it with a Honda, well, an Acura, but feel like that was a step down with a bigger price tag. Once it dies, which won't be long since I have 225k miles on it, I will be getting another Maxima. I'm buying a Titan next spring when I finally break down and buy a boat.

Definitely not a POS for going foreign. Not a big fan of Titans though, would much rather go with the Tundra.
