It really is the butthole of the country, all kinds of crap gets washed down the Mississippi.

  • I love New Orleans. Took the wife and kid to the zoo last weekend.

Uptown New Orleans ranks up there with any city on the planet in terms of architecture, culture, and property value.

Exactly it's a seedy filthy place where people go to do seedy filthy things. Fun seedy filthy things, but seedy filthy things nonetheless.

  • Well, I live in Nola. Last night I was screaming roll tide while playing my drums with the Big Chief of Creole Wild West (the oldest Mardi Indian tribe in the city), with his band jamming to my beats, while rolling in the first parade of the Carnival season. Us Bama fans can roll with it too, Scoot.

If that's what you wanna do, yeah, you can go insane and party your tail off like now where else, but Nola has a lot more to it than Bourbon St and strip clubs. But you have to be willing to explore some things that aren't mentioned in the in-flight magazine article.

  • Cause your bashing my town and you don't know sh%t. I'm not gonna defend scoot, but you definitely don't know a damn thing about Nola.

And if your really from Troy, Al, I wouldn't talk. I'd rather jump head first of a bridge than live in a po dunk town like that. Chalmette, where scoot us from, is a horrible place too, but at least its 6 miles from the quarter.

Hell yea, I was on Royal haven a good ole time. Then went to Bourbon, we rented the floor above Originals for my boy's b-day. Great times and a great city. People who hate just don't understand

At least we don't step in sewage as we walk down the sidewalk. If it wasn't for lax Alcohol laws there would be nothing cool about New Orleans at all. It would be just another nasty corrupt Gulf Coast city.

What does New Orleans offer that is so great?

-It's probably the most corrupt city in America outside Chicago.

    -It's filthy...literally filthy.

-It's a port city and like most port cities all it's waterfronts look like s***.

-It's the welfare, entitlement, capital of the South, probably the country.

-It has a high crime rate and it's just an old city that is slowly rotting away with no innovation or anything new coming in.

-It's the worst educated large city in the United States.

-It's a s***hole. It's a party place and that is all that it has to offer.
