Yeah, I don't see the hate. Just like any top team, it is exciting to see them lose. I like USC and am from California, but even when they were on their run last decade, there were times I wanted to see them lose, just because.
Everyone wants to see #1 go down, especially the 5, 6, or 7 teams behind them in the rankings that would really benefit from it. Bama being #1 just puts the target on thems. I am sure there were just as many people rooting against Notre Dame and Oregon last night as well, if for nothing else, just to see the upsets. They are exciting.
