I need some FF advice...

  • Okay here's the situation. I have to win this week to make the playoffs. I'm 99% sure on who I'm starting, but I have an issue...

    My QB is Peyton Manning. Beast, obviously.

    However, the guy I'm playing is starting Knowshon Moreno and Demaryius Thomas, which will cancel out a decent amount of Peyton's points.

    Here's my question: I have Colin Kaepernick on the bench. Peyton has a good matchup with TB, but Kaepernick's matchup with STL is pretty damn good too. So, do I bench Peyton this week, hoping Kap does well and I don't have half of my QB's points canceled out? Or do I just roll with Peyton like I have all year?

  • Definitely Manning. You can look at it like he is canceling out your QB, but you are also neutralizing a few of his players.

  • Update on my game, with a new question. I needed someone else to lose along with me winning to make the playoffs. The other person lost, so it's officially win and I'm in.

    Here's the deal: I am up 87-83 going into tonight's game. I have Alfred Morris and Hakeem Nicks. Other guy has Eli Manning. I can pick up another NYG receiver (probably Hixon or Martellus Bennett), move Ridley to my RB slot, bench Morris, and start said NYG receiver at flex to handicap Eli. Should I just stick with what I got, or go for the dick move?

    I feel you. Honestly, I was 2-6 at one point and had to win out to make the playoffs. I have done that so far. I'm 6-6 now and will be 7-6 with a W this week. I just don't want to see the win slip away.

  • We started our playoffs this week and I lost a heartbreaker after making some sweet trades to get my team where I needed it. Check these lineups and see why I am in disbelief that I lost:

    Haha nah it was my own decision. But yeah, a tie would have left me out of the playoffs too, and it was tied on 3rd and 3. Morris had 116 yards and picked up eight yards to give me the one-point victory. Glorious night.
