Dude's arguments just make no sense to me whatsoever.
The two that kill me right now are the AD/Peyton comeback player of the year debate, and him trying to explain his prediction for ND beating us in the natty game.
I have no problem with Bayless thinking Peyton should win comeback player of the year. It's really a tossup. Problem is why he says AD isn't deserving of it. He says that because AD is a "workout warrior" that his ACL injury wasn't that big of a deal. WTF Skip? So because Peterson works his ass off in the weight room, his injury is somehow less serious? GTFO
He then goes on to admit that his prediction of ND was stupid but it wasn't that bad because A&M somehow should have transitively won the title. A&M beat us at home and losses can't be taken for granted in college football, BUT does not even want to acknowledge that A&M lost two games in the season. Those somehow don't matter because they were earlier in the year. Skip WTF are you talking about

Alot of stupid people in this thread.
Its a TV show. People are paid to represent antagonistic viewpoints in order to generate ratings.
Has anyone ever noticed how ESPN magically has two guys on TV with completely opposite opinions about the topic at hand?
Its almost as if its scripted infotainment. Oh wait thats exactly what it is.
The guy graduated from Vanderbilt University and is making 6 figures working for the largest entertainment conglomerate in the world. He graduated from Vanderbilt University, I highly doubt he is as stupid as his character on TV.
If people didn't watch this stupid Smut it wouldn't be on TV.

What is so special about AP this year that puts him in this conversation?
The 2000 rushing yards? Chris Johnson got that a few years back, and didn't get a single MVP vote. I understand there are differences between the two, but not enough to explain how one might win the MVP and the other not get a single vote.
The huge turnaround? Andrew Luck helped the Colts have a 11+ win differential, and he was the reason.
The only reason he is even in the conversation is people are putting his injury on a pedestal, that's it.
