did he ask you to bring your "laptop" to the meeting? if so, look out, if not, you are should start looking at TVs cause you my friend are up for a promotion. :)
probably wants to talk to you about taking on a new line of business, or throw an idea at you about something he's been thinking about and he wants you to be the prime on it.
i think it's solid - good luck. even though i tend not to agree with you (over signing - cough cough), but still anytime someone can get some ups i'm all for it.

i'm a business owner and there is zero chance i fly somewhere to fire someone on a wednesday.
1) wednesdays arent firing days unless something happens
2) if i'm the business owner, i could be accomplishing a helluva lot more on a wednesday that makes me money than flying up to fire someone
3) If I'm going to fire you, i'm not traveling to do it. i tell your manager to send you home or I'd do it over the phone
