For one year in Jacksonville, that's not necessarily the show.

Just curious why he felt the need to start a new thread instead of posting his thoughts in one of the 20 threads that already exist on the subject.

It has already gone on for a while now. It is not a big deal.

I don't feel sorry for Atlanta. They knew what they were getting into when they hired him. CBP signed a 10 yr deal to stay at Louisville in July 2006 and told the AD face-to-face that he was not leaving Louisville on Christmas Day of 2006. As soon as the season was over, he jilted the program to head to Atlanta. UofL was blindsided less than a month before signing day. It was very Lane Kiffin-esque.

So, it was no surprise that he followed the dollars to Arky in a similar manner.

But, back to UofA and CBP...

I don't the school has any choice in the matter at this point. The school will intervene and make the best decision for the school, which may not be the best decision for the immediate future of the football program.

He violated his integrity through infidelity in his marriage and again in the cover-up with the Athletic Dept (not fully disclosing the details to them, initially). He certainly has brought a lot of negative attention to the University, which meets the firing clause in his contract, and most importantly, there are almost certainly some legal aspects of the affair that could cost the school more.

They may want to keep him, as he is a hell of a football coach, but they would be hard pressed to do so and maintain their own integrity with the student body, given the school motto and their published 5 principles in the student handbook.

Their student HB lists 5 guiding principles with Integrity as one, an excerpt:
