    I definitely don't mind talk about other recruits; as I am always interested in our rivals' recruiting efforts, but the event itself is in Michigan, so I think you will see a lot of posts asking about the Max Ex team since they are in competition here and are the "home" team.

    I wouldn't be anywhere near that sure. The kid has USC in his top three, and most likely top two without even visiting. Now he is going to visit. The Trojans could very well be his leader by the time school starts again.

    ND is out in front by a wide margin but with Lane/SC and Urban recruiting him there is no comfort until he is signed IMO, but as of now ND is going to be hard to beat, and I wouldn't be surprised if he he had another great visit to ND he would verbal.

    Talked to the nation's top OLB Jaylon Smith. He has the June visit set to Notre Dame for the 14th as reported. He plans to get back to Ohio State soon and USC this summer.

    More coming in a story later.

    An unofficial to SC would be major. I hope his plans materialize.

    This is the Blue Board, not your home site....therefore, anything posted here is open for discussion and debate.

    As for Trojans on your board, you people started that, even reporting back our thoughts in VIP discussion, something our mods have never done, and I hope they continue with the integrity to not ever stoop to do that.

    Michigan and USC are not rivals in any sense of the word, USC has always recruited nationally, so we will come up against other programs all over the country all the time for these kids. We're going to lose most of those OOS battles.

    Overall, there is tremendous respect by the Trojan fanbase/alums for Michigan, so just stop this ridiculous ownership about what can or can not be posted on a forum open to all.

  • Michigan Elite Red defeated AWP in the other huge pool play game, a three point victory.

    QB Cam Thomas really threw the ball well today. Garius Coleman and Leonte Degraffenfeid were among his favorite targets.

    AWP finished the day 3-1. Jaylon Smith had several big plays in the morning including a pick six. Isaac Griffith, Jametrieus Crockham and Jared Murphy were the go-to receivers on offense. All three shined at different times.

    Pool play is done for the day.

    It's back out tomorrow for the single-elimination tournament. Top three teams advance to the IMG National Championships in Bradenton, Fla. at the end of June.

    MaxEx is the defending National Champion and they already have an invite regardless of what happens tomorrow.

    The top four teams today in my opinion were the ones already mentioned, Max Ex, Michigan Elite Red, AWP and Core 6.

  • I thought Shane Morris, Jaylon Smith and Laquon Treadwell all represented themselves well, based on where our national analysts have these guys ranked. Treadwell may even be better. Barton Simmons will get a good look at him next week at the Illinois Nike Football Training Camp.

    All the Michigan commits, (Morris, Khalid Hill, Jourdan Lewis and Csont'e York) gravitated towards Treadwell throughout the day to encourage him to join the family. Morris, Hill and Lewis each let me know how good of a player they thought he was to.

    Treadwell is a solid route runner, physically impressive, strong hands, and can really go up and get the football. Also played safety and broke up several passes.

    Any chance you can post a list of players attending that #NFTC event next week? Is Jaylon Smith going to attend? Any ND players attending?
