    Clemson 2014 QB commit Deshaun Watson was on fire in leading the Cam Newton All Stars to a 40-6 win over Core 6. Threw 6 TDs. Made great reads.

    How are the Berry twins looking? Not quite as fast as Levonte "Kermit" Whitfield (10.2x-10.3x) but they are probably high 4.3x/low 4.4x guys as they've both run in the 10.6x-10.8x range over 100 meters with 2 more years of high school remaining.

    Heard Shane hasn't been that great since his first game. Steve, do you think it has to do with him not having his normal go to guy in JD Lewis?

    Shane has struggled with his accuracy, and when he has been on target guys have put it on the carpet. He's making good reads, they're just not executing. Tough day overall for MaxEx.

    Good to see Shane responding with the pressure on. Hope he keeps it up. Can't wait to see him in a few years. I am really pumped for the Alabama game this year but I really wish it was in 3 or 4 years from now.

    Heuerman was a consistent option for his team. However, he's a complete tight end that also shines as a blocker on Friday nights. This isn't the setting where all his talents are on display.

    Didn't notice Heuerman or Smith doing much recruiting. Even Shane Morris was laying low. It was 100 degrees, and these kids played five games today. When they weren't playing, they were laying low from what I could tell with their respective teams.

    Lots of good teams here, and pool play wasn't the most even setup leading to interesting first round matchups. For instance, MaxEx was 1-3 in pool play and beat a very good Central Florida Top Recruits team in the first round. It will definitely be exciting on Sunday. So much parody.
