Here is a hint... 75 billion divided by 3.8 trillion = equals the percentage of the federal budget spent on foodstamps

The mortgage deduction deprives the US goverment of $100 billion a year.
Instead of getting pissed off about food stamps, maybe you should complain about people that own homes. Since the mortgage deduction costs the US more in tax revenue than foodstamps. The mortgage deduction also punishes people that don't own a home.
Somehow I am willing to bet that all you numb nuts that own homes, will find a convenient excuse about how the $75 billion spent on food stamps is worse than the $100 billion taken away from government coffers.
Am i right?
