Increase minimum wage + kick in the ass + database showing you're applying for positions = the best route for everyone.
Higher wage means no excuses, assistance is still available for those healthy and looking for work but haven't gotten hired. Agreed?

No, I just take care of myself and make sure that I don't need assistance. If I had to have a job to survive, I wouldn't be above cleaning toilets, or any labor job. That's a big problem, many Americans think they are too good for certain jobs. If someone is on welfare, then make them earn that welfare, by way of community service, highway clean up, or something.

Thats a valid point.
But again the annual $75 billion spent on Foodstamps, and the annual $30 billion spent on Section 8 housing didn't create our Annual $1 trillion deficits.
However I guess they are at least a small part of that equation.

Economics 101 says increasing the minimum wage INCREASES unemployment.
Congratulations your policy just put the US back into recession.
These issues aren't black and white, and the solutions aren't that simple.

They are because it's contributing to people becoming more and more dependent on the government for assistance. Those numbers will continue to grow, and people will get lazier and lazier. There are jobs available if people truly need them, they just don't want to get their hands dirty with certain jobs.

Do you honestly think that abortion could ever become illegal in this country? To a point that you feel threatened that the gov't could take away that right? IMO that's no different than saying that Obama is going to take away everyone's guns. Both will never happen.

You're damn right it could.
You didn't really read up on Mittens and Paul Ryan did you? Are you also aware of the number of Supreme Court seats that could be opening over the next 6 years?
Do a little more research on the candidates the republican party seems hell bent on continuing to nominate and you'll understand why even moderates are scared of their government.
As for guns, not one reasonable person is hoping to "get the guns" or completely disarm Americans and if you paid any attention to the hearing the other day you would know that. Don't compare apples to oranges.
The point he was making is it is simple to throw a "survey" in one direction or another by asking vague questions.

There are a great many things which are now legal that at one point or another were not legal, do you really want to go down that path?
Go look at what was happening PRIOR to Roe v. Wade. While you're doing that, remember you have been complaining about supporting people who cannot support themselves fully. Who do you think will be picking up a percentage of the tab if right wing nutjobs get their way on this issue.
And since you're content to tell me what I my do with my own body, please know I will expect the same out of you.

Incorrect.
I wish both sides would research what's happening regarding these issues.
Making access more and more difficult is the current strategy across the country, don't tell me it couldn't happen when we are seeing states inch closer and closer toward making it almost impossible.

Are you sure because I got called out as being completely FOS when I said this exact same thing last week here. I was also told for ever one person who abuses it there is a thousand that don't. I had no fkn clue they did research on such things. Those dems are smart as FUK YO. Get this, the guy who called me out said he bagged groceries in a store for quite some time and not one foodstamper bought lobsters or used an iPhone. Clearly makes him a fkn expert no?
