    USC cool

Seriously though, you don't get what the NCAA's role is. So like I said, we cannot discuss this any further.

Yes I do, I posted their mission statement. It's basically to govern athletics. Guess what the athletic department falls under. Hint: it's athletics.

And lmao at you even joking about a kid getting a few thousand dollars being
worse than than a system of leaders covering up a guy f***ing little kids in the a** and running a kids charity farm league of rape victims they all knew about and let continue. If it could possibly get worse than that for an athletic department in America I don't want to know about it.

Obviously athletic department falls under jurisdiction of the NCAA but the problem wasn't any Psu football employee, it was a former employee and the athletic dept, all of the "LOIC" was the athletic dept and not a Psu football employee... If it got proven that joe or any other member of the staff purposefully allowed it to continue or more came out from when Sandusky was still coaching than we'd prolly get hit hard with the morality clause..... But that hasn't happened so that Is why we wOnt get sanctions.

TLion, Jive...you both know the kind of person Joe was. Someone who dedicated his entire career to making life better for those around them, and especially for the students at Penn State. 60 years, millions of dollars, and countless hours dedicated to that cause.

You are arguing with someone who is accusing Joe of willfully enabling someone to hurt children in the worst possible way.

  • comments from a current member of the NCAA infractions committee and former chair of the committie plus the entire article.

"The purpose of the NCAA is to keep a level playing field among schools and to make sure they use proper methods through scholarships and etc,'' the chair said. "This is not a case that would normally go through the process. It has nothing to do with a level playing field. It has nothing to do with whether Penn State gets advantages over other schools in recruiting or in the number of coaches or things that we normally deal with.''

"But this has nothing to do with NCAA business,'' said the former chair. "This is new. If they're going to deal with situations of this kind that have nothing to do with the games of who plays and so on and rather deal with members of the athletic department who act immorally or criminally then it opens up the door to other cases.''

"The real question is whether or not under the overall rules and regulations of the NCAA do those in charge take action when it doesn't fall within the scope and realm of the normal infractions process,'' said the former chair. "This has nothing to do with a level playing field or competition. The NCAA is a voluntary organization and the schools sign on to be bound by the NCAA rules and regulations.''

What did I say ITT, the NCAA can do what it wants. They don't use precedent.
