USC is a powerful place that Lane Kiffin is ruining.

  • Why because they outclassed a Nuggets team who really isn't built for the playoffs?

Let's wait and see how they look against OKC/ Spurs until you make ridiculously bold assertions.

To a certain extent. I hate Lakers fans, not the Lakers.

I just answered the question though, am I not allowed to do so?

You can do whatever the hell you want to. The back and forth between you and the Lakers fans is getting a bit repetitive though. It's not a completely absurd statement. I could see any of maybe five teams having a shot at winning the title this year.

I pretty much agree with this. I am in no way sold this team will even advance to the Conference Finals much less win the title. An awful lot will have to go right before I'm convinced otherwise.

I guess so. Blame it on the haters of you know who, that's what the arguments always center on. Me defending a certain player who won't be mentioned so this thread stays on topic.

Well I'm a Hawks fan so both of your fanbases should be happy that your team has half a chance in hell. Mine certainly doesn't.

I don't get into those arguments because I think both Kobe and Lebron are both awesome players although I'm not sure that I like either one of them.

  • Bynum's play isnt, and hasnt, been a question at all this yr. He's healthy as he's ever been (knock on wood), having only missed one gm this yr due to being hurt.

The Lakers' playoffs dont start 'til gm 3. They were a lousy road team this yr, and thats putting it nicely. If the bench can play well on the road, they got as good as shot as anybody else.

I'm a Raptors fan for the most part so I feel your pain. I just like LeBron a lot and want him to get a ring, so my allegiances are with the Heat until the Raptors field an actual team.

Lakers, Spurs, Memphis, Heat, and Celtics are the teams with the best shot, and with equal shot. I think OKC will get bounced by the Lakers in the 2nd round, too much iso ball to win a title.

I want LeBron to get a ring for the sheer fact that I want Skip Bayless to shut the fvck up. I say that but even I know he won't if LeBron gets a ring. He'll say that LeBron couldn't get a ring and it was all on Wade even if LeBron plays the entire span of the playoffs like he did yesterday.

Bynum has certainly had major boughts of poor play brought on primarily by bad attitude this year. If his head is in the game, he's a handful, but that's been a big "if" the past month or so. See last Sunday's Lakers-Thunder game if you want a good example of what I'm talking about.

A major reason why I want him to get a title also lol.

Skip Bayless is such a turd.

Attitude wise maybe, but it hasnt stopped the Lakers from winning.

The Lakers got out performed a bunch on the road.

I do agree that a focused Bynum increases their chances a ton. But, correcting the road woes is #1 by a mile.

They gotta shot. A good shot too, if they play inside out.

OKC has the edge, I agree there.

But, its different in the playoffs. The #1-2 teams in ft att are Denver and OKC. And OKC hits above 80%.

Those disparities normally shrink around this time of the yr, because refs tend to swallow their whistles a little more. I think the Lakers have to get Bynum and Gasol to the line as much as possible.

The key will be keeping Harden off the line, which is easier said than done.
