    please explain how you land Winston? he has come out multiple times that he is firm to fsu. bama has a bad baseball program, so where is this flipping coming from?

    Why do you pitch a shitfit every time some Alabama fan thinks we have a shot at flipping him? I think he stays with FSU due to the baseball factor but you act like someone called your mother a whore to your face every time someone suggests it.

    It has to do with the fact that we heard the same "He has said multiple times he is firm, bammers" from Auburn fans and reporters about Yeldon as we are currently hearing now about Winston.

    for every TJ Yeldon there are 10s to 20 Eddie Williams..... not saying Winston flips, but to say he will cause Yeldon did is just looking for a reason he does... well Yeldon did and he said this or that...... Karlso Williams committed to FSU for a long time, took visit and never flipped.... it works bith ways, and more often than not they stick.....

    I didn't say it's a done deal. I just think it's funny that you would rule out anything before the ink is dry on National Signing Day (or the day after). This is recruiting we're talking about.

    I'm going with Jones, Jenkins, Collins and a wildcard. I don't think we get Goldman or Winston but I'm just guessing here. The wildcard maybe being Korrian (sp?) or that huge kid (can't remember his name).

    They were (are) each committed to other schools and Alabama heavily pursued (or is pursuing) each of them. Also, they are both in-state kids. Also, they played together at the Alabama-Mississippi Game, where apparently a lot of pro-Bama recruiting took place. We've already gotten two switches from that game, including one from FSU.

    Yeldon said he was committed and was not considering other schools up until the day he switched. This is not a new occurrence, a lot of recruits do this every year.

    You were jumping all over brandon21mnc for just posting what Geno Smith thought Alabama would end with. He then tells you repeatedly that he's just posting what another recruit said and he had no idea if Winston would flip or not and you continued to do your best "UH-UH" impression. The thread isn't that far down the page.

    Well, he's left the door open himself by routinely taking unofficial and official visits to Alabama and entertaining Alabama coaches for in-home visits. So obviously he is at the very least listening.

    it did suck losing Taylor, but he had a change in heart of position, Bama offered him that chance....

    all 3 of these recruitments are not the same..... do they have things in common as being recruited by Bama sure....

    needs are different as Bama does not need another QB, Bama was taking 2 RBs this class, and DT was a need for Bama, not so much for FSU.....

    and before you bring up Goldman and FSU that is more of a luxury for us, not a need.... that is why we wanted Taylor as a olineman.....

    That's the rumor, but it is stupid. Why would he say " I want to play in a Malzahn backfield, but if he is leaving I will go to the polar opposite style offense. He flipped because somebody pulled NS 's head out of his butt and showed him TJ is not a DB. He grew up a Bama fan and wanted Bama all along, but wanted to play RB.     We actually now have three RBs in this class. As far as our need at QB, that's really up in the air at this point. I'm not kicking him out the door by any means, but I doubt that Sims returns next season. Behind him we have Ely, who at this point appears to be purely a depth guy (that could change obviously, since he's only a freshman). That's it. With Morris coming in, there's the real potential that we could have three scholarship QBs next year. There's a reason our coaches are pursuing Winston this hard. They believe we need him.
