If FSU, Oregon and LSU/Bama go undefeated

  • Who gets left out? LSU/Bama will for sure make it because they'll be ranked #1 if either goes undefeated by the computers... Who gets left out?

If this happens.. I feel bad for FSU fans because they might get the short end of the stick and Oregon might get in over them if they beat USC but you never know.

I would rather FSU because I don't like the way Oregon plays and they had their chance against Auburn but what say you?

  • FSU will definitely get left out. Our strength of schedule really is crap due to the ACC and West Virginia backing out. How in God's name could the ACC get any worse than last year??? Amazingly they did.

  • I'm not an Oregon fan (at all)... But 'they had their chance against Auburn'???

That was two years ago and Oregon was an amazing Dyer run away from winning that game. You'd really use that as a reason to keep them out of the NC?

I dunno.. Every time a team has had time to prepare for Oregon in a big game, Oregon gets beat and I would hope I wouldn't have to watch that again.

    Boise State
    LSU
    Auburn
Another team but I forgot who else.

I will admit, it's a bad reason to keep them out but to ME, I would rather let FSU in the big game.

I know what I just said isn't very popular and isn't the best reason to keep a very good team out the MNC game but that's how I feel about it personally.

I can def. see why people think it's a dumb reason because in a lot of ways, it is a dumb opinion but thats just me

and the SEC wins its 7th straight, Bama's 3rd in 4 years

  • I gotcha.

Personally, I'd keep Oregon out because I don't think their OL/DL can hold up to Alabama's counterparts. Stanford and USC both have better line play.

Oh, and I bet USC takes them down at least once.

I hope USC beats Oregon.. I can't stand Chip Kelly and that gimmick offense.

No one ever remembers that they needed a pick play on a referee to convert a 4th down to tie...

however, it will be FSU. The ACC sucks worse than 11 Auburns.

We play florida who could be top 15 when we play, clemson who was top 10 at the time of the game and could end up top 15 at seasons end, miami who could be in the top 20 when we play if they keep on winning.

  • It will depend on how Clemson, VT, Florida, USC, Stanford, and Arizona do.

If Clemson wins out and UF only has 2 losses book FSU in the NC game.

    TNoles813

  • Bama and FSU will be undefeated and playing for the MNC. Both Oregon and LSU will lose at least once.

    GreeneTrojan

  • The easy answer is FSU. But, I dont think we will have that many undefeated teams this year. I could see having only 1 undefeated team. I dont see Oregon beating USC twice(just very hard to do). I also think FSU will slip up once. The ACC is not good but Miami is looking better than expected and Clemson will finish in the top 25. Other than that, the ACC is not very good. GT has looked bad and so has VT. Those teams were supposed to be top 25 teams. Nc State has look average as well.

This is hard for me to say, but I think the Big East as a whole might be better than the ACC this year. The Big East has Cincy, Rutgers, and Louisville who are al top 25 teams and still undefeated. UConn is decent and will make a bowl. The rest is pretty bad, just like the ACC.

I think the BCS could have a team or two from outside the Big 6 in this year. I dont see the ACC or Big 10 getting two teams in. The SEC will get two teams and I think the Big 12 could get 2 teams in as well. I think the Pac-12 will beat up on each other and only get 1 team in. That would leave 1 spot potential for a BCS spoiler.

i could see the ACC getting two in if FSU wins the conference and gets the orange bowl and clemson goes undefeated with only 1 loss to us and beats a ranked south carolina

    Can't agree there.

    FSU >>>>> Louisville
    Clemson > Rutgers
VT just beat Cincy I think?

You are wrong. Cincy defeated VT.

I think the ACC is better at the top with FSU and Clemson. But I think the Big East middle teams are better than the ACC.

I think the 3rd best team in the ACC is Miami?(who got blown out by K-State). I think one of the top 3 teams in the Big East could beat Miami.

And do you know that the ACC is 3-4 vs the Big East this year. VT lost to Pitt and Cincy while Maryland lost to Uconn and UNC lost to Lville.
The only wins you have are Maryland over Temple, NC State over Uconn, and FSU over USF which are not really amazing wins.

    Finnyusc

  • If LSU continues to play as they have been and yet somehow manages to squeak out a victory over Alabama, then it will be LSU.
