No clue tbh. Not sure how we get there without adding more California teams unless Larry Scott and co. go after the Oklahoma schools again, and manage to get Texas.

The Big XII has the ACC to pick clean. I think that the Pac-12 has less options, but I'm not sure that they need to make a move. 12 is fine and probably better than the slop they would have to take on to get to 16.

Big12 will expand East. FSU and Clemson will likely be in it for 2014. Miami and Louisville could come next. Just examples.

Yeah, which leaves Clemson, FSU, Louisville, Miami, GT and... whoever. But they have options. The PAC-12 doesn't have any real possibilities unless it wants to add schools in low population areas (BSU), ones currently in their footprint (Fresno St.) or some mid-major Texas school (SMU, Houston). Terrible options.

It's not about the size of the Boise market, it's about the fact that they're literally an upgraded junior college and football is the only sport they can play at a Pac-12 level.
I doubt the Pac-12 ever expands. If the conference dissolves I could see USC/UCLA/Cal/Stanford going rogue as a package deal to another super-conference.

PAC12 needs to add 4, Big XII needs six, SEC two, and the B1G two.
A lot of teams headed west IMO.
