wow...
holy shit super troll
it's a fucking rough draft written by a classmate.
man.. ha ha ha... if you're a fucking teacher, you need to learn how to read then shut your fucking mouth... it's always funny to have some bitchmade pussy ass teacher in here calling names, too... knowing you're a fucking pussy must make the internet an attractive way to be some sort of toughy... ha ha ha.. you probably cower from your students.
vag.
just a question, why is there such an outcry everytime, in every city, when they try and stop prayer in school, or god forbid, to take the newest addition, "under god" out of a pledge of allegiance?
judging by your base reaction, i would say that his paper is right on, and, when the need to remove some demagoguery from somewhere, all your little sissy cohorts come out of the woodwork...
it is obviously a national problem, too, teacher, when it is before the supreme court constantly.
this is why you are a fail. go back to rivals, worm

Okay..well the rough draft is based on an idiotic premise.
Just because you post incredibly idiotic tripe like this initial post, dont get all pissy at me. You being this mediocre is not my fault.
And you need to work on those mediocre comprehension skills. I didnt call you any names. I just pointed out how idiotic, remedial and sophmoric a paper like this would be.
Its based on a stupid premise, with zero quantifiable research possible for it, and has zero redeeming qualities as actual critical thinking. Using that little speck of common sense that any real adult has naturally received, its pretty easy to answer this world shattering question you think you have discovered. Of course any person of any faith is not going to want to live in a state where another faith is recognized by the state as true.
Pure inane drivil. Its a stupid question, because there is no thought needed to answer it. Anyone that thinks its deep or insightful is living in the kiddie pool and will never travel into the deep end of the pool.
Now try answering without becoming either profane or inaccurate.
By the way, I am an atheist. You are making more of your poorly thought out assumptions in your attacks.

i am not sure if that's able to be proved either.
seems like quite a lot of outrage when someone has to take out the ten commandments, or some such...
most is pretty vague, but responses like this seem to differ:
The decision outraged religious and political interests throughout the state; and the Alabama prayer battle has become a rallying cry in the culture wars pitting the First Amendment against religious expression in government venues. The Price ruling prompted the formation of a "Save Our Commandments" coalition which held a rally on April 12 in front of the Alabama Capitol building in Montgomery. Governor Fob James has declared that he will call out the Alabama national guard, the state police and even the University of Alabama football squad if necessary to "resist" any court ruling that would end prayer, Decalogue display and other religious expression in courtrooms. The U.S. House of Representatives weighed-in with its own support for Judge Moore, and passed a resolution by a 295-125 vote supporting the posting of the Commandments in government buildings since they are "a declaration of fundamental principles that are the cornerstones of a fair and just society."

This is why the paper is a fail....at least in my class. He has nothing but some random idea based on very isolated and regional instances of Christians in this country wanting our state to also be our religion.
That makes this thread, in general, kind of stupid, since its based on personal opinions garnered off you watching the news and only paying attention during the parts that peak your interest.
"Hey did you hear that in Alabama a number of years ago, there was some people upset that they wanted to take down the Ten Commandments from a courthouse? That must mean that the majority of Christians in this country want there to be a national preacher as a Cabinet position."
Bad research based entirely on limited experience and personal bias=Fail

What if the majority become atheists? Most people I know just tend not to believe in anything.
TroyTide said...
Then they will seek to use the power of the state to remove religion from society as much as they possibly can.

Most atheists I know aren't out pushing their religion on people. I'm not so sure they would be out trying to remove religion from society....

Because people constantly try to make the world more to their liking, and when they are in the majority in a democratic society they tend to push even harder to do so.
Most Christians I know don't actively push their religion on others

Notice: the above quote is made up of multiple posts....
**Basic idea being that Atheists want to remove religion from society as a whole:::
1)See the video below. Now find me an atheist interested in achieving what you claim. If you cannot then....well...I really don't even have to say it, do I?
**Meanwhile, "Most Christians I know don't actively push their religion on other"
2)See Fred Phelps. Phelps too extreme? See Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Joel Osteen,...need I continue?
*edit, opps, I almost forgot: Rick Santorum

Apparently you struggle with reading comprehension...no, it's not that you struggle comprehending what was typed but reading in general.
Where in my post are the words "No activist atheists"??
Find me a video of an atheist expressing what you claim.
Does that clarify it for you or would you like me to draw it with a crayon?
-----
Better yet, if you can manage to do it without cheating, name 10 activist atheists.
Now name 10 public Christians....
There may be atheists out there at the extreme end of the religious spectrum just like there are extremes at the other end, but 9 times out of 10 people will easily name 10 Christians and struggle naming 10 atheists at the other end. And for the record, Falwell, Santorum, and Robertson are not, in any way, 'out of the ordinary' or 'extreme' in the mind of MANY people. Fred Phelps was an extreme example though.
The moral of the story: , Don't make asinine statements unless you can back up what you claim. Now go back to your argument with Brad, that's more entertaining anyway.
