Agreed. And although the loses have been ugly. We really had real shots to win the Clemson game and possibly the Arky game (that game was closer than the score)

The inconsistency is a halmark of young players and the fact that we have no on field leadership on Defense and only Lutz on offense.

The losses were ugly because road games with tons of youth can quickly get that way. We make a lot of mistakes due to youth, and on the road that = bad.

Apparently that doesn't matter. For a program that average two every hundred years, I'd say we should be happy right now.

I agree. Before the season I was thinking that if AU broke .500, it is a damn fantastic season. Your fans too easily forget that you guys lost 21 players off the 2-deep and 35 overall from last year's team. That isn't just hard, it is impossible, to overcome that kind of loss.

Auburn is MUCH better this year than I thought they would be.

That and some think that playing in 8/9 games makes you a seasoned, mature, SEC veteran.

You can't look at it like that. Every day you drive a car you're 12 inches from the cars in the other lane. You still drive though, right?

We are 6-4, and that's all that matters. I think Coach Chizik has done an excellent job this year when you take into account the circumstances he is in. As has been pointed out numerous times before, young teams with no leadership can easily lay down when it gets tough. Last year we had a senior-laden, albeit less talented, team that oozed leadership and fight. When our young bucks mature, they will take on leadership roles and fight adversity like the guys from last year. We lost EVERY leader we had on the team from last year, and now we're depending on some true freshman to provide that guidance?? That = rough year.

Content with 6-4? For real? 4-5 vs BCS conference team is exceeding expectations?

Yeah, content with where we are. We lost 35 players from last years team, including 22 off of our 2-deep. Our schedule included four away games against teams in the top 15. When we play Bama, we will have played 5 out of the top 15 teams in the nation. Get that? Our team is green, and that is a recipe for a difficult season. Apply some logic here. Or don't. I don't care.

it's the way you're losing...zero effort against uga after a bye week...i don't care who you're playing..au is getting royally beatdown...and it took miracles to beat utah st and msu...sure you'll go 7-5 this year...but below the surface this au team is a 4 win team...from the eye test, worse than the 98 team.
