1. St Louis (Great basketball city)
2. Anaheim/OC (Large population)
3. Kansas City

NBA needs to contract,not expand.
At best they could re-locate to some of these cities.

KC has to be high because of the Spirit Center. That's a state of the art arena without a team. Other than that, Seattle or Vegas on the west. Vegas may never happen for obvious reasons about the gambling situation.
But yeah, there are way to may teams anyways.

Columbus, Ohio. NBA can't expand at this point way to many bad teams, if anything they need to get rid of the Bobcats and Hornets.

Many teams are doing very bad and losing money, the NBA couldn't even sell the Hornets for months and likely had to fix the lotto to sell them.

ehhh I live in OC. San diego is 45 min. to an hour away thats 4 million people right there. OC has 4 million people. Lots of people would love to have a team in Anaheim because it is an absolute bitch to get to downtown LA for a game.

The Greater LA area has the disposable income and population to support many different professional sports teams including three NBA teams. That's in addition to what is posted above.

There's actually talk of this. Coleman has submitted his attentions to the NBA that they want a team in Columbus. Milwaukee owner is rumored to be looking at moving the team if they dont get a new arena.

Seattle has to be #1. They got screwed big time, and there is still a strong support for basketball in the pacific northwest.
Other cities would be St. Louis, San Diego, Baltimore, Las Vegas.

I read a rumor that Quin Snyder is in the running for the Bobcats job. If that's true the NBA needs to rip that team away from Jordan ASAP.
