If we got rid of Ohio, we'd make more coastline though (look at the borders, imagine it as a lake; PA, IN, KY, WV, and MI get more beaches)...

And would we really want Lake Erie to be connected to the rest of the Great Lakes? I mean, back in the 1960s, you used to be able to light Lake Erie on fire.
