Yea but no wenches are on board so you're stuck at sea for months with just dudes

I would have a truly massive ship with a super big, relatively nice living space and eating space. 20 women on board for household tasks and one is my old lady. The best looking of the bunch.

Women are allowed to be promiscuous obviously but any report of rape is answered by immediate beheading (of the man).

I don't know if pirates got that lucky but since this is all hypothetical then that sounds solid.

  • 1.The Mongol era of dominance under Genghis Khan and his successors 1206-1294. I'd combine today's knowledge and of that era's to become unstoppable. All of Europe would crumble beneath my feet with the Khan's armies and my knowledge.I'd stop the whole invading Japan thing, saving valuable troops and ships from being randomly attacked by typhoons, and send diplomats to work it out instead. My rule would be a little less violent and save all the books from the Middle East + Mediterranean world to bring back to Mongolia for future generations. There's no telling how many classics we don't have today because the Mongols got to them all

    2. a World War 2 US fighter pilot. I'd fly a Corsair in the European theater just to be a badass lol

  • I would say WWII just because it was such an epic war and I've always been fascinated with it. But when I think about it, it would not be as amazing as I think it would be. I would not enjoy seeing the great amounts of people suffering and dying. It's easy to look back at WWII today and think of how "awesome" it is because of the way it is portrayed by the media, but in reality it was a real hardship.

For me, I think it would be very interesting to go back to the 18th and 19th century. I would love to just head out to the frontier and explore, etc. Seeing our country form and grow would be very interesting. I've always been fascinated with the Native Americans at the time and would love to see them live and interact.

This is always such a hard question because I would love to go back to so many moments in history

diseases and stuff at that time, when would you live?

1450-1550- Modern History was shaped in this 100 year time frame. War, Politics, Culture, and Religion all changed drastically during this period.

1700's- Same as before, but people dressed cooler.

I'd go back to the 70's and stab Cecil Newton.

Then I'd hit a Dead summer tour.

  • Several periods for me.

In order from would live in most to least

    1. Be born in the 1920's probably literally 1920. Grow up when everyone was happy, then when i was becoming a man(AS you became very early back in those days) grow up in extremely hard times to make me appreciate things greatly, and then join the fight and seeing the country as unified as it will ever get.

    2. Anytime from approx. 1815-1860, after all of the revolutionary stuff and the war of 1812 and before the civil war. I would love to go our into the new territories and just see them before people got to touch them and live off the land.

    3. And I am not familiar with many specific dates, but i would love to see any of the different empires over in China.

Those same concerns you have about WWII are also the same for the Native Americans of that time period

  • Last century B.C. Rome. If I was a member of a powerful family.

19th Century Britain, be wealthy enough to tour the empire.

    1920s New York

All of these are some of the finest periods of Western Civilization, as opposed to the decline of it we live in now. I despise the times in which I live.

50s would be nice. Come home to a cooked dinner and no nagging from the wifey.

330 ad would be cool. Formation of the Byzantine empire

500 BC or so.....golden age of Roman empire (I am pretty sure around that time but not certain)

Also my disclaimer .....every girl I would be with would be clean shaven, that ish is gross.

The Byzantine empire was not an actual empire that was created, it was simply what was left of Rome. So it actually would not have been that great since it would be after the height of that society. Also the period that modern historians erroneously call the Byzantine empire would have actually come to be a little over a hundred years later than you state. I believe Rome fell for the final time in about 470AD.

Also Rome was no more than a settlement among-st some hills and next to a river in 500BC.
