My grandfather's generation. Easily. As long as I don't die in WWII,though.

This. The 50's seemed like a very fun decade. Didn't even have to lock your front door at night and people actually could trust each other.

The 1960's and 1970's are the only time I would want to live in besides now.

Oregon sucked in the '60s and 70's you'd have hated it.

Those decades were pretty amazing if you toss out disco. No AIDS, .29 cent gas, no bras, and only Vietnam to worry you. I was draft #36 in 1972 and thought I was a goner then they only took up to #18. I still thank the fates on that one.

The '60s cars were amazing and the '70s cars were amazingly bad.

Not so badass. I got my license in '69 and the '70s were my car youth and we all drove pre '71 cars because of the horsepower and because styling started going south with the 5 mph bumpers. Even the styling on customs and Hot Rods went down hill in the '70s.

This is purely my opinion but I'd wager it's shared by most car guys.

diseases and stuff at that time, when would you live?

1450-1550- Modern History was shaped in this 100 year time frame. War, Politics, Culture, and Religion all changed drastically during this period.

1700's- Same as before, but people dressed cooler.

People would smell like shit back then. No thanks. Imagine that unwashed, extremely hairy vag. Now imagine smelling it when the chick is fully clothed from 20 feet away.

I would want to live in current times or maybe go back and see if Jesus was real... or the first con artist that fooled billions.

  • The OP said he'd want to live within a 100 year range and the responses are all limiting themselves to like a decade ..

The 20's is the decade I would most want to live in .. but as for "eras" .. I'll take 2100+

Since you're from the era I'll take your word for it. I was born in 1979. I started driving in the mid 90's.

  • Best cars are from 1966-1971.

I don't buy into the muscle car era being to 1973.

I WILL own a 1970 Chevelle SS with the 454 under the hood one day. Might even own a 68 Camaro(Yenko of course) or a 70 Judge too.

People would smell like shit. The only way they would smell slightly less awful is if you were filthy rich and could bathe a couple of times a week and use cologne/perfume. Even then, it would smell awful. Think "Sex Panther".

  • 1950's and 60's for me. Doing the Sinatra mafia connected life. That was the height of their cool and badassness. Hot chicks just throwing vag at you and anything money (or influence) could buy. Of course, I have no morals, so this life might not be for everyone.cool

Ha my HS car was a '68 Camaro (no Yenko damn it) and my buddy had a '70 SS 396 Chevelle.

The baddest car I ever owned was a '66 Chevelle SS with a built 454 close ratio 4 spd and 4:11s. Dumbest thing I ever did was to sell that car.

  • Born in the late 50s-early 60s.

60s - tv was coming around but kids still played outside all the time. Football/basketball/baseball were were on the upswing in terms of talent/excitement. Modern music began to take shape. Seems like a good time to be a kid.

70s - best era for music. Aside from computers/the internet we had plenty of modern technology to keep my occupied. I would have been the pac-man master. Laws/rules were not as strictly enforced. Great time to be a teenager.

80s - Terrible music, but everyone was so fvcked up that they didnt notice. Non-stop partying during college/early adult life.

90s - The internet. I would be old enough to have some cash in pocket and jump in on the internet business craze. Make tons of money and enjoy modern luxuries.

00s - 40 is the 30. Probably would be divorced and banging plenty of fine young broads. Still young enough to fully embrace life.

10s - Eventhough I am starting to age, modern medicine is keeping me feeling at least as good as I did the decade before. At this point I still am very active and healthy. Not something many 50 somethings could say in generations past.

20s+ - Praying that we find ways to extend the human life cycle to live comfortably past 100.

    So many choices for me.

Anywhere from 30 BC- AD 180 would be fun. Pax Romana and all that.

AD 450-550 also. Barbarians. If I am immune to disease and poor nutrition this could be fun.

Anywhere from 500-323 BC. Persian and Peloponnesian Wars and Alexanders war of conquests. Socrates, Plato, and the rest of classical Greece.

Yeah, I wasn't saying anything wrong with the OP I thought it was funny that people were limiting themselves to one decade when for instance if they want the 60s they could say 1940-2040 and still get them in there.
