    I think I'll go with your opinion, after all, you've only been to every CFB venue in every conference, all over the country.....including all the big rivalries like that big ol cocktail party they throw down south. We may not have the prettiest, but damn, USC is a hard school to get into, lol.

    Can't wait to see you at the tailgates my Buckeye friend...

    If they don't like winning national championships, I guess thats cool? I mean, it sure isn't deterring the real recruits, then again, they don't have a large bias against UA fans or Coach.

  • I was a recruit from Vegas... but for swimming. There was mutual interest in: Florida State, Cal, Arizona State, Bama, South Carolina, Air Force Academy, Southern Methodist, UNLV, and kinda Auburn (but I knew the coach there well, David Marsh, and I'm guessing a scholly offer would have been low).

    I took a recruiting trip to: Florida State (loved it), Bama (loved it), South Carolina (hated it - wanted to leave as soon as I got there), SMU (loved it- but scholly offer was too low), and Air Force Academy (it was OK, but I wanted a real college experience).

    In the end, if the FSU coaches would have had any organization in their recruiting, I may have ended up there but I got the feeling they didn't know what they were doing. Bama blew me away... went to a sold-out gymnastics meet on my trip and loved the "college town" atmosphere... and the swim team was cool.

  • To preface my opinion, I'm from Kentucky and that is also my school.

    The 5 I would choose from:

    1) Southern California - Scenery, beach, girls, winning tradition.

    2) Washington - Scenery

    3) Pepperdine (assuming that this school has a football team, IDFK.)

    4) Oregon - Scenery.

    5) Texas - Winning tradition, great coaches and great other players.
