If you were a top recruit, where would you go? And why?

If you were a highly sought after recruit that could basically go to any school in the country, where would you go and why? For disclaimer purposes put which school you would go to and which team you are a fan of. The school you decided to go to could be the same that you're a fan of, but list reasons why you'd select them. I'm interested in the answers TBB will yield.

My OVs would be Florida, Georgia, Arizona State, Ole Miss, and Notre Dame. ND because that's my jam and my mom would make me, the other 4 for sluts. I'd then eliminate Ole Miss cuz that's rassiss and Arizona St. cuz that's not the south...probably would dump Florida at the end because I hate jorts.

I'm a Miami fan and it's Notre Dame and not even close. I scoff at people saying Bama, Georgia, LSU, etc...you guys are BEYOND biased.
For history, football, academic standards and the ability to get a job from a nationwide alumni standpoint, it's not even close to anybody else. Notre Dame is HANDS DOWN the best place to go for a person to compete for a national title, get into the pros and MOST IMPORTANTLY get a job with an INCREDIBLE degree to live life to the fullest.
It's not even close. Don't ever bring this subject up again. It's also the best coaching job in the country because of everything I just said AND their own network.

Most important would be the coaches. They are going to be yelling at you for 4 years and if you don't like them it would be hard to stick it out. Secondly but less important would be the school/atmosphere.

Sean Cwynar split time with Nix at NG last year and turned down 5th year eligibility to leave school to go work for IBM...dunno how many kids at any other school would/could do that.

Why are you so mad at the south? Have you ever been to Athens, Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Baton Rouge? Warm weather and a car ride to the beach, these are 18 year old kids that are wanting to have fun and play football, not 35 year olds rethinking their life choices and career paths. Notre Dame is a great school and has an unbelievable legacy, but it's okay to go to a school that doesn't have the same clout as others.

Don't particularly care about history, the chance at the NFL is equal if you have the talent, and I could care less about a national network if i'm not watching the games on TV. It's not like Stanford is some D3 school you can only watch streaming online.

Michigan fan so I'd go to Ann Arbor, but other than that, I'd have to say USC without a doubt. Beautiful campus, beautiful girls, beautiful weather, great degree, and great tradition.
