If you were a top recruit, where would you go? And why?

No history, worse shot at making the NFL and no national network. ND wins in all three categories...

What? Stanford's national network is awesome, and their recognition is much better than Notre Dame outside that network. You also have just as good of a chance to make it to the NFL at Stanford.

  • tOSU- grew up in Columbus. Homer pick
Florida State- hot weather, good football, hot women
    Georgia- Respect for Mark Richt
Oregon- As long as Chip Kelly were there.
Notre Dame- Close to home, good chance of being drafted, and the team doesn't have to be that good to get into a good bowl.

shrug I didn't know we were predicting the future? If that's the case UGA will have won 3 MNC in a row by the time 2020 comes around.

It's under the assumption---not a hard one--that Alabama will continue their pace of draftees. We are putting guys in the league like Miami, like USC. It's only a matter of time really.

  • Assuming Im an offensive lineman like HS, I would be down to Nebraska and Stanford.

I honestly think I would choose Stanford, great weather, great campus. They have put alot of OL in the NFL the last few years. Plus the education doesn't get much better for major college football, so if the NFL doesn't work out I am going to have a great job.

It'd be a tough choice to not go to the school Im an enormous fan of, but I just don't think they are the best opportunity, especially with that moron Barney Cotton coaching OL.

LOL at spending my college years in the North. No thanks, not if I can help it.

I'd throw in a film of green bay vs. Minnesota in 15 degrees and say , "son you have to prove you can play in any type of weather."

Then I'd throw in a picture of ski resorts with snow bunnies and say it ain't always about toothless hairy backed race car lovin sweaty people.

The two statistics compliment each other...most players sent to the NFL, most players in the HOF = historically successful program that develops players for the next level.
