  • Really excited about Tezeno. Guy is a beast, and will be successful on whichever side of the ball the staff wants him. I think I'm more excited about Al-Rasheed Benton and DeShawn Coleman, though. Coleman is a monster at RB, and has made defenses look silly all year. Benton could start right away as a freshman.

Benton could be the steal of the class. Tough, fast Newark kid who, as you said, could step right in and play.

It was honestly a toss-up for me with all three of those guys. I simply know more about Tezeno and am a big fan of him. I'm looking forward to seeing how he fares against some pretty good DL in the Offense-Defense Bowl practices after Christmas.

  • Also, though I listed Maurice Chandler for Texas Tech, I have since heard he is likely to double-sign with a JUCO and might be a longshot to make it in. If he doesn't make it then I would say WR Dylan Cantrell has the best chance of making an impact for the Red Raiders. He is already a polished route runner, has plus speed and good hands.

  • What a waste of talent for Robbie to go to Baylor. Briles is a great coach, but they will never be a 10 win tem consistently.

If I am not mistaken we are still recruiting him pretty hard.

Wasting your time. He's going to Baylor.

It's not my time being wasted and if he does good luck to him. As far as I am concerned it would be great to get him but I would trade 5 just like him for one very good D- tackle right now.

My guess would be more than everybody else was offering...lol Just kidding, I do not think coaches pay players and I am sure Baylor's boosters don't have any more money to offer than the ones at the top programs so this is most likely an I know I am going to be the man situation, OU is loaded at the position.

Bet he switches to Tech and plays for Kingsbury.

He could really do some damage there but probably better off at Baylor, they are investing big time into their program, coaching is good and they have stepped up in recruiting.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of what a&m is paying RSJ's pops would be my guess.

Yea, I like what Baylor is doing. They seem to really be putting more effort into their football program. At least, more than they used to.

No need to pay RSJ, he want's to play with the Heisman trophy winner. baylor will always suck.

Not sure why a DE would be overly concerned about who his QB is, BWTFDIK shrug

None the less Baylor's about to put out their 2nd 1st round receiver in as many years. Suck as they may Briles will put him in a position to earn a hefty pay check in 3-4 years.

RSJ isn't a DE, he's a WR. I'm guessing Mack told you that? Just like Johnny Football is a safety, ha

  • I don't get the Warrick pick for Texas, Brian. Shipley and Davis will still take up two of the spots. Then we have Cayleb Jones, Kendall Sanders and Marcus Johnson who were all talented freshman this year, with the later two having splenty of speed to burn. If we keep A'Shawn, he's really the only person from this class outside of the possible JUCO's in Swaim and if we get Harrison who should to get significant playing time imo. I'm hoping we do a lot of redshirting next year, especially with the OLine commits. We might finally have a true 2 deep there for the first time in a while.

Lol well congrats then on your 4.7 receiver who's never played receiver.

Yea, a five star that will never play his position. Kind of like Jake Oliver, ha? Oh no wait, Jake doesn't run that fast. Also, it's a 4.6, get it right.

You mean the Jake Oliver who just broke the state receiving record? That Jake Oliver? And if you want to get technical its 4.69. If you wanna call that 4.6 then be my guest. Moral victories are sort of you guys' thing so don't let me stand in your way.

As an aside Russell Shepard was a 5* QB......just sayin...

You mean RSJ, as in the number one WR in Texas, RSJ? You still didn't answer my question about Olliver's speed. I could beat him in a foot race, and I can't even run.

  • Says who? Last I check Robbie Rhodes was the #1 WR in Texas.

And in order to answer a question, a question needs to be asked first. Crazy I concept I know.

I asked about Jake Olliver's 40 time. RSJ is #1 in the '13 class. Don't hate, just watch and learn. We have the best WR's in the country.
