In the NFL do you think having a bye helps or hurts?

  • I know it sounds obvious but lets say that you don't have any injury issues.

    Most of the teams that have won the Super Bowl recently have been teams that have played in the Wild Card.

    Do you think having that week off hurts while the team they are playing have already had to gear up for a playoff game situation?

    Packers hurt themselves last year in my opinion. They rested their starters the last week of the season, had a bye then played their starters three weeks later against NY. I think one week doesn't hurt. I also think when a team is on a roll with no injuries, youre better playing each week.
