  • Romney will have taken a bigger lead(according to CNN's mix of six polls he's already ahead). People are looking to make sure there is someone competent there if they fire Obama, so a draw is actually a win for Romney.

    Obama can spin all he wants but he had no substance on why the economy is bad, why so many people are out of jobs, why healthcare is so high, why energy costs are up, why foreign policy is poor... No answers just excited counter punches about Romney's wealth.

    The common thought on line and in twitter is that Obama cannot defend his record without referring to Bush

    Sigh.

    The economy isn't bad, it's stagnant, growing modestly. The reason there are so many people out of work is because we've had the biggest systemic economic crisis since the Depression only three years ago. Every economic indicator is positive. It's not enough, but to say its bad is just not true.

    Healthcare has grown at the smallest rate in decades in the last year or so.

    Energy policies are mainly dictated by markets. Gas prices are high because there is a greater demand for it. The government can't do much about that. Natural gas is plummeting, but most prices for electricity and gas are set by regulated power companies that can't fluctuate prices much due to state and local rules.

    Foreign policy is poor? We had one fvck up with the embassy. We've drawn down in our theaters of war, killed the man responsible for 9/11, aided (without entering physically and using massive amounts of money) countries in freedom in the Middle East, general like ability of the US is up relative to the last administration, Iran's economy is beind decimate by sanctions etc.

    Do you have any scale or scope? Diction? You just described something that doesn't exist.

    Hmm. Odd. It happened to coincide with the first all Republican Montgomery since the Reconstruction and they introduce laws banning sharia law, failed to balance the budget, introduced an immigration law that killed agriculture and correlates to a rise in unemployment etc.
