wait. you don't think on any given day that A&M, Bama, LSU, UF, SCAR, and UGA could beat anyone? they all beat each other throughout the season, so who do you leave out?

Florida, A&M, SCAR, and UGA. LSU and Bama are probably the only ones that could beat anyone in the nation, LSU being borderline at that.

You could do a lot worse than Butch Jones. Laugh away, but this was a good hire.

i agree. the Vols landed the better of the new coaches hired in the SEC.

Lol. You do know bama and LSU lost to those teams right? That comment makes zero sense.

You point is stupid because last year, Golden killed it in southern Florida. This year, more info came out and things look very bad moving forward. If you don't get why they are down, then I can't help you.

If you believe recruiting at Miami in South Florida, is the same as Knoxville, Tennessee, then I can't help you.

No. That UGA team that Bama barely beat got rolled by S Car by 4 tds. We beat each other up all year. You'll see in the bowl game. Those SEC teams listed above will not lose a bowl game.

A&M beat Bama, Bama and UGA played down to the wire. Florida beat LSU.

not saying that all teams WOULD beat anyone in the nation...but the statement was those teams could beat anyone on any given day. I completely believe that. Same with Oregon, KState, Notre Dame, Ohio State, etc...

Of course not, but the point is that Golden never had any ties down south until he went down there and then he killed it. Jones does have ties in a rich recruiting state an easy drive away, and he will still be about to get a couple of the big names that come out of Tennessee and he has ties to Florida.

    He will be fine.

SCar will lose to Michigan, LSU possibly to Clemson, A&M could lose to Oklahoma, and Alabama could very well lose to Notre Dame.

Regardless of bowl games though, you said those teams could beat any team in the nation, and that is simply not true. The only teams that could beat Oregon out of those you mentioned are Bama and LSU. The only team you mentioned that could beat Notre Dame is Alabama. The only teams you mentioned that could beat Kansas State are Alabama and LSU.

Bowl games, outside of the national championship, don't tend to match up the best teams against each other, so your bowl game argument is invalid.

Cooter Jones hasn't been questioned about his coaching. Just about everyone thinks that he can coach good enough to win in the SEC. It's his recruiting that is being questioned. I guess we'll have to wait and see about that. His classes were better than Kelly's classes when he was at Cincy though. Just throwin that out there.

I forgot how elite SCAR and TAMU were. I mean a combined 3 national titles is pretty impressive, all of which coming from TAMU.

Keep riding the SEC hype if you want, nobody is going to stop you.

Don't let your emotions get the best of you. How these teams are performing right now have nothing to do with their past history. It seems that most history lessons come from blue bloods that are now mediocre. Vegas agrees with me since the SEC is favored in every match up. I don't expect any of these "potential losses" you list will even be close. All should and will be double digits wins.

Of course you expect every win to be by double digits, you're an SEC homer. You think because Alabama, LSU, and Florida have won multiple national championships in the last decade, that the whole SEC is amazing. Sorry to break it to you, but that's just not true big guy. The top of the conference, LSU and Bama, are among the top teams in the nation, the rest get high rankings because of the media hype surrounding the SEC.

I remember hearing this same argument a couple weeks ago. "SEC will shut up as soon as FSU and Clemson deal with them accordingly." That didn't work out to well for the haters. Neither will you hoping for bowl upsets. S Car and Michigan could get ugly. Clowney will go off.

To me it just sounds like you're just mad at the SEC in general. We'll revisit this thread after bowl season.

And we also beat Georgia by 4 TDs. This argument will take us no where. I expect something along the lines of 34-17 S Car...or maybe worse.

Yes I do..he's a solid player, but Clowney will still move around and wreak havoc. Plus we have 40 sacks on the season, and only 13 of those are Clowney's. You will have more than Clowney to worry about.

Michigan rarely gets sacked. Devin Gardner and Denard Robinson were sacked for a combined 12 times the whole season. Clowney will not just wreck havoc like you believe.

You expect us to fumble 3 times in our own territory? UF had 21 points off 29 offensive yards. I don't expect that to happen in Tampa.
