    This is pure ignorance. It costs WAY more to put someone to death than it does to keep them alive. The death penalty is the easy way out. If we keep someone alive they have to sit in prison and actually suffer for their crime for years, whereas if we put someone to death the suffering is over much quicker.

Those countries pretty much already know the verdict before the trial starts and in some cases they don't even get a trial. When you actually get a clue, which I doubt will ever happen, then come back to the big boy table.

    Personally I believe in God and the after life and believe that everyone will be punished/rewarded for what they do. I wasn't going to try making this a religious thing, but I guess I will now. Every person deserves the opportunity to make things right with their Lord no matter how much time it takes. Who are we to say who lives and dies? If you sir are a religious man like I am you would know this. In Acts 26:18 it say “so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me” In Matthew 5:38-39 it says “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.But I tell you, do not resist an evil person.
