Interesting Georgia vs LSU Perception

  • Wondering when the last time a BCS team came into a game with a 10-game winning streak and was a two touchdown underdog? Particularly an SEC team.

    Is LSU really that good? Great defense but seems like the offense doesn't have the gas to put up a big number today against a good Georgia defense.

    Particularly since it is basically a home game for UGA.

    The Dome being a home game is very overstated. There will be plenty of LSU fans there as well. Plus, the Dome-field advantage certainly didn't help against Boise.

    Why does LSU have to put up a big numer? 24 points will probably win the game by at least 10.

    If you've ever been to a Falcons game when the Packers are there, 10K can make that place sound like a home game if the opposing crowd isn't into it.

    I guess Boise had a huge home field advantage there then. UGA was out of that one early. Have a feeling today will be much of the same.

    I was actually thinking that the line is pretty low.

    Exactly, they haven't really beaten anyone. The only reason they are in the game is because the east is down and luck of the draw in not having to play LSU, UA, or Arky this year.
