Interesting note about Virginia quarterbacks

  • Six of the 12 starting Atlantic Coast Conference quarterbacks are from the Commonwealth of Virginia: Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas (Lynchburg, Brookville), Florida State's E.J. Manuel (Virginia Beach, Bayside), Clemson’s Tajh Boyd (Hampton, Phoebus), North Carolina’s Bryn Renner (West Springfield), NC State’s Mike Glennon (Centreville, Wesfield) and Virginia’s Phillip Sims (Chesapeake, Oscar Smith).

    Of course, Christian Hackenberg (Penn State), Ryan Burns (Stanford) and Bucky Hodges (Virginia Tech) are in this class and Caleb Henderson is one of the top quarterback prospects for 2014.

    I wasn't slighting him I was talking about national-level recruits.

    This is a college football recruiting site, not the Richmond Times-Dispatch all-state team.

    I'm high on Corwin Cutler as a prospect FWIW.

    He might be good but he still only has the one offer from UVA and that was after UvA struck out on their top 3 and took another ahead of him ( hes better than the MD kid IMo). Add that everyone in the nation has been to Ocean Lakes this year plus watched him over the summer on their summer team and he still only has the one offer....just doesn't add up to him being better than he's ranked. IMO he'd be better going to ODU and lighting it up there when Hienke leaves.
