It was because you went silent for about a week after you went and visited Scoot. You were posting a lot back then and then poof, you went silent. Of course nobody thinks that, but it's funny all the same.

Dated a girl for 4 years. We were completely in love and had talked about marriage and what not. Had it all planned out just like you.
She left me a few months ago, I didn't see it coming at all. Darkest time in my life. I went from 178lbs to 156 lbs in 10 days. Threw up every morning, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep. Worst part was her telling me she still loved me and wanted to end up with me while she saw some other guy. Told me he was nothing compared to me, just someone to keep her from being lonely. Finally grew some balls and shut her out of my life.
Still am not 100% over her (been 6months now) but I've moved on mostly.
I guess what I'm saying is, go home and give her a kiss and thank god you have her...and let her know it too.

She actually wanted to "take a break" to figure things out.
I told her breaks don't work, and if she needed to "figure things out" then we should just break up.
Problem was I tried to win her back rather than get with other women. Wound up pushing her away more.
But, It's like I always say. If I lose the woman I love it will be because I try too hard, never because I didn't try hard enough.
She was my first love, and I couldn't just "drink a six pack" (btw who buys a six pack?) "and get over it"
That's just not how I operate

Not calling you out brother, just letting the other poster know that b/c she was seeing other people, you didn't technically dump her. I've been there before and I feel the same way as you about trying too hard vs not trying at all. You'll bounce back and who knows maybe you two will end up back together down the line.
