Intresting photos of Zimmermans head

So what would your reaction be if some stranger is following you? Zimmerman says himself that he was following Martin...I have not heard anyone even bring up the idea that Zimmerman was not following Martin.

What is your reaction if some strange man starts following you around?

not only that AM, but followed him, got out of his car after following him and confronted him. to be honest if I had been that kid, my adrenalin would have been full steam by the time Zimmerman walked up to me. I would probably have taken the first action.

Doesn't mean it's right. I'm just tired of him being made out to be perfect. Zimmerman was wrong too. I guess my biggest problem is the racist bs.

I never said it was right. But being suspended for weed is not the same as being suspended for bringing a weapon to school, or fighting, or anything else that is worse.

Hell, when I was in high school (a private, Catholic school) 15 years ago, kids were suspended for weed a lot. They weren't bad kids, and I don't think Martin was either.

no one is perfect but getting cought with weed has nothing to do with him being killed that night. who cares he smoked weed and got cought with it the problem here is he was walking home from the store wit some skittles and a sweet tea and he was killed by some self appointed watch leader

It has to do with his character. I'd have been scared shitless to take that to school, I'd have gotten my ass whooped.

The problem with that is, Zimmerman had no idea what Martins character was.

Personally I dont think Zimmerman is a bad person or someone who did any of this on purpose. But his actions and his need to be a vigilante, armed self appointed neighborhood watch zealot, means that a kid that was not doing anything wrong, is dead. It would not matter if Martin spent his life torturing puppies, at the time he was killed, he was unarmed, and walking home from a store with candy and a drink.

Both participants probably went overboard with their reactions, but Zimmerman is still alive, and the kid is dead. And the person that killed him is George Zimmerman.

It's a damn sad situation that Trayvon died. Why did his mom say it was an accident?

  • Something else that should be mentioned. IF Zimmerman is proven to have been attacked, and beaten by Martin. Then this trial is the best thing that could have happened to him. If it had gone the other way, with no charges being filed, then he would have spent his entire life condemmed as a murderer, who shot down an innocent kid for no reason.

At least he will get, his literal, day in court, instead of all this speculation that has been around for the last few weeks.

Don't disagree, but the president has no business opening his fat mouth about this single case.

Don't disagree, but the president has no business opening his fat mouth about this single case.

Actually the president can discuss anything in America he wants. He made zero judgements on the case, and just expressed sorrow that it happened at all. Here is his entire quote, and remember he was responding to a question about what he thought about the case. He did not put this in a speech or anything.

"Obviously, this is a tragedy. I can only imagine what these parents are going through. And when I think about this boy, I think about my own kids. And I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this, and that everybody pulls together -- federal, state and local -- to figure out exactly how this tragedy happened. But my main message is to the parents of Trayvon Martin,” said Obama. “If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon. And I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves, and that we're going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened.”

The same day Mitt Romney made this statement about what Obama said and what he thought about it.

"What happened to Trayvon Martin is a tragedy," he said in a statement. "There needs to be a thorough investigation that reassures the public that justice is carried out with impartiality and integrity.”

You just get too worked up over these things, especially if a politician or social figure you dont like says anything about it. You need to do that step back thing, and think about the actual words used, instead of the knee jerk reaction that Obama said something, so it must have been wrong.

  • Yea and conveniently after he said that the case went differently. He did it because it's an election year, not because he gives an f.

He was ASKED A QUESTION TX. This was not a speech. And again, Mitt Romney also responded to a similar question and you dont seem to be worked up over that.

Both men handled the question fine. They didnt make any judgments on it, except that it was pretty horrible that a 17 year old was dead. Thats it.

There are plenty of things to not like Obama about. But if you are going to get worked up every time he says anything about anything, then your opinions are going to lose their validity. You are not criticizing the statement, you are just hating on the man.

It's not him answering a question that I have a problem with, it's what happened afterwards. He put people on this case, and I have a problem with that. Romney is worse than Obama, I'd rather have four more years of this shit.

  • Zimmerman said he was following him bc he looks suspicious. It was his job to notice anyone that looked suspicious. He just over did it when he followed him around on foot.
