Iowa Western C.C. is loaded this year

  • The Reiver team this year is absolutely loaded. Here is a rundown of their prospects.

    WR Deon Long: Was a freshman All-American last year at New Mexico. He has committed to Maryland

    WR Martize Barr - Another transfer from New Mexico, he committed to Illinois on Friday

    DE Rodney Coe: He was an All-American RB that signed with Iowa out of high school but he is now 6-3/275 and will be playing DE this year. Iowa, Iowa State and USF.

    DE Devon Nash: Originally from Lincoln, Neb, the 6-5/260 DE has offers from Arizona State, Kansas State, Memphis, Nevada, Oklahoma State, San Jose State and Troy.

    OL Dallas Hinkhouse: The 6-5/270 OT/OG has offers from Ball State, FIU, Memphis, San Jose State, Southern Illinois and Troy.

    RB Don Jackson: He was placed at IWCC by Washington State but the Cougar staff has since been fired. He has offers from Iowa State and Nevada.

    RB Aaron Wimberly: The Snellville, Ga. native has offers from Iowa State and Troy.

    DT Jordan Heiderman: The 6-3/275 DT has his first offer from Indiana

    OG Mike Smithburg: A local Iowa kid, the 6-3/300 OL has an offer from Memphis

    QB Ricardo Young: The former Virginia Tech QB transferred to IWCC but will not play this year for them. He has committed to Maryland though. The IWCC starting QB is Jake Waters (6-2/215) and he is getting a lot of interest from Kansas State.

    they just started their football program in the last few years didn't they? pretty impressive. hopefully they can start feeding some good players into the Husker program.
