Elam reminds me of when Eric Berry played safety at Tennessee.... the last time Tennessee was relevant.
Elam flies around and delivers blows very similar to the way Eric Berry did at Tennessee. Very fun player to watch.

All 3 are great safeties. TJ just played on an awful defense with an outdated defensive coordinator.

This. Not only out of place, but missing tackles left and right. The broadcasters in tonight's game mentioned after one of Elam's shoulder tackles that he wouldn't be able to get away with them in the pros. Well, at least they worked for Elam in college, unlike McDonald's attempts throughout the year.

No one has mentioned Kenny Vaccaro. In the Texas-Oregon State game thread on here there were a few people saying he was the best safety this year.
