Look at Wall Street and any other facet of life: history is an indicator of what happened in the past and is NOT an indicator of future success. YES, the SEC has won in the past, but I am not sure how you can say the SEC is some juggernaut this year. Look at the rankings and the reasonings we get for the SEC teams: "well, they play in the SEC." The SEC has Bama.......and then some other teams. UGA beat Florida, but lost to USC. UGA has one "quality win". USC had a magical game and UGA did everything wrong. UGA is a good team, but definitely has its flaws. UF: your defense is stout. Your offense continues to be your caveat. Texas A&M is the #2 team in the SECw right now.
To have a 2 loss LSU team and a 2 loss USC team above any other teams without 2 losses is just comical. To the rest of the country, it is quite obvious that the SEC is hyped well over it's actual. Just because you have one great team does not make your conference great. The SEC is good, but it sure seems the media puts you on a pedestal.
Again: if the SEC loses to another SEC team, then that loss is a 0.5 loss. Yet, if an SEC team loses to a non-SEC opponent, it's obviously a fluke to the media and the rankings should retain itself.

Yup. And the Ducks haven't faced a defense yet either even though Az State has one of the top rated D's in the nation and we took them to school. Az State is a top D that actually plays teams with offenses too, but of course they suck, just like Oregon.

Oh please. This and your comment about a 48-24 score are so biased it's unbelievable.
Arizona State?? The 5-4 team that lost to Missouri? The team that has let up 35+ in 3 straight games? That's like an ND fan talking about how good BYU is...
And saying ND hasn't played a real offense is also nonsense. 2 weeks ago, ND went to Norman and shut down OU. The only time ND has let up more than 20 in a game was an OT game in a classic letdown game.
Keep thinking your offense is untouchable though...I guess all I can do is remind you of 2009 Boise, 2009 Ohio State, 2010 Auburn, 2011 LSU

Ahh no. Being biased would mean I have something against ND or I love SC and neither are true. It's just my opinion. No bias involved.
Guess what bud. It's 2012. Bringing up games in past seasons is the worst argument. By that logic you are saying since ND has lost to about everyone in the past decade that means they will lose to them again. So that means you will definitely lose to SC because they beat you last year. Nice try though. Lol.
I guess you'll just have to wait and see what will happen against SC. If you are confident ND will win you are going to be a sad, sad camper. You're in for a rude awkakening. Btw Oklahoma is extremely overrrated this season. Beating them was only slightly more impressive then beating Pitt. Bro, you went to 3OT with Pitt. Enough said.

Well, your opinion is biased, does that make you feel better about it? there is nothing to suggest that ND will let up 48 points, nor is there any reason to believe that USC would hold ND to 24 in any way, let alone a shootout styled game.
Also, bringing up past games makes a lot of sense, when you consider that Oregon's type of offense has yet to have a successful game when playing a legitimate defense. Both SC and ND are very different from where they were last year, so that game doesn't make any sense...
And I don't think ND fans are overconfident about the USC game. But they sure don't expect to be blown out, nor should they. I mean chit, only teams USC has beat by more than 20 are Hawaii and Colorado

only SEC teams can struggle on the road against bad teams from their conference, but when another teams does it they are not a top 10 team.

Is FSU the number 2 team in the country?
