Do you realize how large the class of "entertainer" is?

Bing Crosby, M Jackson are two easy ones i can think of that easily surpass him right now. And those are only musicians... Bing became more than that, but the term "entertainer" incorporates way more than musicians.

Yeah, its hard to forgive him for that.

Loved Garth Brooks and he is a wonderful entertainer, IMO, more so than a great musician, but there is a difference between a number 1 hit and a number 1 on the country music charts.

Garth Brooks is the number 1 selling strictly country musician of all time (the Eagles and Elvis are the only musicians that are ahead of him that were once classified as country).

Brooks is 23rd all time in album sales, which puts him right between Barbara Streisand and Bon Jovi.

Have you ever heard of John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen and the Rolling Stones? As for drinking on the stage the Games takes a whole bottle of Hennessey to his dome in some of his concerts..

Garth is an amazing performer. But take the bias out of it. You would put him above Elvis? The Beetles? The Who? Metallica? Springsteen? And the greatest music Icon of all ages one M.Jackson. Sorry but no.

Garth is, as I said, one amazing performer. But he has a long way to go to sell the records and sell out the stadiums that MJ did. Hell there are still folks buying Thriller!

Once he returns it is pretty likely he surpasses child molester jackson in certified record sales. He is less than 20 million behind right now.
