I assure you it will shut nobody up
Just like if we beat you by 70 there will be certain Cane fans who still think a turnaround is happening and if they played again next week the Canes would roll by 3 TD's or more
Just have fun with it mane, don't listen to bullshit
Nobody knows who will even play in that game right now, we might be starting Clint Trickett ( knocks on wood )

rivalry game. throw out the records. anything can, and will happen.
I think FSU should definitely be favored, and they have more talent imo...but Miami should improve next year and like I said...anything can happen in a rivalry game.

You guys keep talking about defense, and as we all know, defense isn't the issue with FSU. That Putrid offense on the other hand... Jimbo is going into his SIXTH year as OC so all those players that werent drafted on offense, are HIS DOING.
As the poster on the first page said, Jimbo is too loyal to Trickett. Trick is yet to produce an above average OL. In fact, he's had one OL that I would consider average, with the rest being sub par. So long as he's coaching that OL and Jimbo doesn't hire an OC, FSU Won't take that next step. EJ graduating is a blessing for them as I think Coker/Winston/Trickett are all better options in time. EJ plays like a fifth year freshmen. He's a great athlete who will never have the mind or accuracy on a consistent basis, to be great.
It's simple, Jimbo has two options.
Trickett gets fired, all the sudden FSU recruits OL's the way they recruit every other position, Jimbo saves his job, and FSU competes for tities. We all know offense is what is keeping FSU down. We all know offense starts with the OL. We all know that winning titles is all about the trenches. FSU certainly has the defensive front.
Trickett doesn't get fired, continues to have sub par OL's with sub par OL prospects who don't particularly like him, FSU has a great D but no running game despite good talent at RB. With no running game, the passing game will never take off the way it could. Jimbo misses his window with all this experienced talent because he refuses to admit he's a sub par OC with a TERRIBLE OL coach. FSU remains by far the most talented team in that God AWEFUL conference, but manages to lose three or four games a year. Essentially what has been going on for a while now and exactly what we saw last year.
Frankly, I see Jimbo just like Mark Richt. WAY too loyal to his asst (Remember Martinez for UGA.. Hell, how bout BOBO?) FSU has enough talent to continue to win 9 or 10 games despite not living up to the talent level. In turn, this keeps Jimbo around, but also keeps the FSU faithful hoping and knowing they can do more. The fanbase is split with those saying "how do you fire a guy winning nine games a year", while others know that the talent level suggests they should own that conference.
The honeymoon period is over with the fanbase and the recruits instate. UF isn't going to stay down for long and is already showing it's recruiting prowess now that things have stabalized (look at the recruiting classes, especially instate). This is FSU's time right now to get it done. Honestly, last year was even moreso. Depending on what happens with sanctions, Miami could turn the corner sooner than later. While I don't see that happening soon, it WILL happen at some point.

Honestly, Miami is going to take a step back this year before they improve. They have sub par talent and well over half their team has ZERO experience, with the other half being scrub fill ins.

Is Jimbo Fisher the right guy for FSU?
